Boagstown Farm, Falkirk

A dilapidated collection of buildings to the north of Falkirk gained planning consent for conversion into 6 dwellings which included a new build unit in the countryside.  Conversion of traditional stone buildings with carefully considered extensions provided 3 of the units.  The other 3 took the agricultural barn form and reinvented it as housing.

External areas are carefully considered to balance public and private space so, although closely grouped, the dwellings can operate with a high degree of independence.
