2 Arka projects in running for EAA awards 02.04.13
Arka are delighted to announce that two of our projects have been shortlisted for an award at the Edinburgh Architectural Association awards 2013. Both our conversion/extension to Almondhill Farm Cottage, Kirkliston and our conversion/extension to Middlestrath Mill near Avonbridge are in the running to recieve awards, with the results to be announced on the 22nd April. Watch this space for news from the event.
Arka Project wins Master Builder award 20.12.12
Good news as Arka’s extension to the existing Middlestrath Mill has been crowned winner in the Scottish leg of the Federation of Master Builders ‘Master Builder of the Year’ award. Designed by Arka and constructed by Crannog Construction Ltd this project will now go on to represent Scotland in the UK final in March 2013.
Arka Highly Commended at SSA Awards - 02.10.12
Arka are delighted to have been awarded 'Highly Commended' by the Stirling Society of Architects for their Myretoun Barn conversion at the foot of the Ochils in Menstrie. A plethora of quality architecture was displayed at the 2012 chapter awards ceremony, held in the Park Hotel in Falkirk last week and Arka are proud to have once again made the cut. Arka shortlisted at Scottish Home Awards - 18.05.12
Arka are proud to announce that we have been shortlisted for the third year running at the Scottish Home Awards 2012. We have received nominations for a grand total of 5 categories:- Architectural Excellence (housing development), Architectural Excellence (Single House), Conversion of the year, House of the Year and Small affordable housing development of the year. Planning granted for Comely Place - 24.11.11
Arka are pleased to have received planning permission for 3 units to replace an existing disused building at Comely Place in Falkirk. Working with a relatively compact site, we have achieved 3 large townhouse type dwellings which still sit comfortably in their town centre location.
Arka win RIAS SSA Best Building Award - 29.09.11
Arka are very happy to have been awarded the RIAS Stirling Society of Architects Best Building Award 2011 for our Cairneymount Church project. Extension to Greenvale Drive complete. 11.8.11
We are happy to announce completion of our extension to a house on Greenvale Drive, Falkirk. This will be making an appearance on our website shortly. We have uploaded some photos of the project to our Facebook page in the meantime.

We have uploaded a set of new images to the Winton Loan project. The internal alteration and extension of this Edinburgh property is now complete and images of the finished house available to view in the extensions section.
